more wedding photos

Kara and Kayden having fun at the Nauvoo Visitor's Center.

Baby Laura modeling her "Auntie Kendra" hair color. See, she just wants to be like Kendra!

The Nauvoo Temple. Old school done right...for the second time!

Grandma Stephanie helping Laura try on her wedding outfit before the big day.

Kenneth participated with as much enthusiasm as he could muster. Jared was a little confused by this "impostor" uncle and can't wait for the real thing to come back into town. Kayden meeting the Nauvoo horse, Mike.

Mom's talent for flowers and decor are evident with the pretty mailbox arrangement and front door displays.
Kendra and Dad posing in the family room at the beginning of the reception. We love your hairdo, Kendra!

The parents with Cyrus and Kendra posing for photos before the crowds come inside.
Look at those gorgeous bows (ahem!). Thanks Mom, for passing along the grandmothers' knowledge that was handed down to you.
Mark and Bea drove across the country to be there for the big day and reception! Awesome. They brought Buck and Spitz, who were quite popular with all of us, as usual. The dogs hung out in the air conditioned car a lot during the visit -- it is VERY humid and hot out in Illinois this time of year!

Check out Kendra's awesome wedding shoes. I wish I had as much style (and online shopping skills) as this girl possesses. Your colors rock, Kendra.

The bouncehouses! Jared is in the red shirt. He literally ran himself ragged that night. Horray!
Love the lamppost in the front yard. Mom's arrangments are so pretty!
Kathryn and Laura sitting with Grandma Joyce. Grandma has had a busy month of travel and two weddings!

Fox nephews enjoying the bounce house.
Let them eat cake! Beautiful cake flowers. Delicious cake!

So that's all I've got. Did you guys get other good photos? I'd love to see one of our family with Kendra in front of the temple.

Family Fun in Illinois

Let the Price family games begin!

Aunt Marcia and Haylee Jo traveled all the way from Panaca to be there with the family for Kendra's wedding week. We had a great time -- Marcia is an amazing grandma, all the kids gravitated to her (see Claire melting in her arms).

Kendra and Cyrus were on full-fledged "awesome auntie and uncle" mode.

Jared and Kayden are so cute together.

Jared inside the wheel well of the "Raminator" truck, one of the many cool vehicles at the Touch-A-Truck community day. Guess who is draped over the top of that huge wheel...

The siblings at the May 20 Touch-A-Truck event: Kara with Corbin & Kayden, Krystle with Daryn & Claire, Kathryn with Laura & Jared, Kendra & Cyrus, and cousin Haylee Jo. I believe Marcia was taking the photo. We didn't get a photo of Mom there! Another shot of Cyrus being a cool uncle to the boys.

Happy Birthday, Kirk!

"When 32 years old YOU become, look as good, you will not." - Yoda

We had a great time pulling off a successful (adrenaline-pumping) "Surprise!" for Kirk when he arrived in Illinois late in the evening on the 20th. Haylee Jo helped make our awesome birthday banner, Kendra made and frosted a 3-level cake (with Cyrus commandeering the icing tube mid-way), and we all had fun hiding under the dining room table to jump out at just the right moment when Kirk came home. Even Kenneth made a surprise trip up from Houston to be there (ha ha!).

Funny factor photo. Dad was giving Kara a wet willy and Tom was on tip-toes because Kenneth had inexplicably grown 4 inches in 16 months...
Ahh, a more normal photo of our awesome family. Happy birthday, Kirk! We love you!

Photos from Ben's Facebook

Cyrus' brother, Ben, posted these photos from the wedding on Facebook. These are the first installments of sharing...

Hello Mother-In-Law and niece!

Parents of the couple: Ray, Stephanie, Steve, Sue (Susan)
Kid Wrangling!
Kendra on the Nauvoo Temple front steps. What a bright, sunny day!
Fox nieces and nephews in all their cuteness.
Cyrus and best man, Andrew.
Cyrus and Kendra coming out of the temple.
The great idea: bounce houses for family and friends at the reception. Many compliments from us parents for this one.

Cyrus and Kendra in the bounce house. Who can spot Corbin?
Kill it!
Cyrus doing a cartwheel of joy for his good fortune.

Father-Daughter dance in the foyer. My apologies for the uber-casual sherpa in the background.

Time to share pictures!

For those of you with cameras, it's time to share your family pictures! (Especially of the wedding weekend!)

Kendra is Famous!

This is the link that will let you watch Kendra's 2009 Women's Conference cello performance and Sister Beck's talk. You can either download the video or just click on 'watch now' and you can see them all! This link also gives you the next broadcast date in case you'd like to watch it on BYUTV (I think it's June 17th at 10:30pm).

Look for the really pretty cellist, and you'll see her. Awesome job, Kendra! (I like your shoes, too.)

4 months

Laura is 4 months old! Milestones: laughs, scoots by arching her back and pushing with her legs, rolling over (sounds like a dog trick), smiles a big whole-face grin at anyone who looks at her, clasps hands together, sleeps well at night, loves watching her brother do cool things for her, loves riding in the hiking backpack (it puts her right to sleep), and often stops eating to just look lovingly up at us and smile. Awwwww.

Tom said today, "This is the stage and type of baby young girls are hoping for when they daydream of being mothers. She makes it look so easy." We know it won't last forever, so we're enjoying it now.

14.4 lbs, 24 1/2 inches long

Arizona Cousins

Tom and Kathryn's family had a great trip to Arizona to visit the Dopps last week. We hope Brittan and Asaka had a wonderful wedding today! We were thinking of you! Some highlights were Laura and Anabel meeting (they are so cute!), the bridal shower for Asaka, guys' night out for the men, a day trip to Sedona to hike with Mike and Liz (Aunt Loy's brother & wife), having time to sit and talk with Aunt Valerie and Uncle Durk, "where's the TV?" when Jared couldn't find their 72-inch monster flat screen in the living room, and of course, Jared playing with Ethan. Cousins are so much fun! Thank you for having us stay with you!

Laura and Anabel are just under 2 weeks apart in age. Precious little sweet girls!
(Or, as Tom said, it's a diaper changing race! Ready, set, GO!)

Pearsons in Sedona on our hike on Mother's Day. This aparently is the second most photographed rock formation in AZ other than the Grand Canyon.
The poor, tired little hiker dragging along the last 100 feet of our hike in the blazing Arizona sun.

Shoes

Which one was done by a 4-year-old? Beware the triple-triple knots. He twists and turns them until the laces don't drag anymore. Ingenious, but a pain to untie! We're still working on the technique...
